During June 2024 I created a freelance photography business, seeing £580 in my first month and worked with 3 clients to meet different needs. First was a tutoring business where I created a promotional video and afterwards did two large birthday parties.
Venice Essay (75%)
I argue that the success and decline of Venice's trading empire was due to its geography. Venice lost its dominance as the trading hub in the 16th century due to the rise of Portual and Spain but able to maintain importance by focusing on industry and harnessing its long-standing relationships with Europe and the Levant.
In this project with 180 Degrees Consulting (charity consulting society) I led a team of 6 consultants to help Issam Haswhi Bakery School Lebanon with: Sustainability, Transport, Housing and Fundraising. The charity is based in Lebanon and helps disadvantaged young people become skilled in baking
180 DC: Broxtowe Youth Homeless
In this project with 180 DC (charity consulting society) I evaluated the youth homeless charity's marketing strategy and argued that although their demographic is young people, TikTok shouldn't be used as engagment proved to be less effective than on Instagram or Facebook.

Oil Essay
I recieved a First Class Honours (72%) on this essay in which I explored the relationship between Oil and U.S foreign policy during the Cold War.
In this presentation I gave to the Self-Improvement Society, we discussed the relationship between happiness, wealth and relationships. We concluded that althoguh research suggests that social relationships provide the most happiness, the confounding variable of gratitude was hard to discern from happiness.
